west university festival of new homes 2014 features original art “urbana" by artist hector romero oct. 18/19 & 25/26 Chris and I spent our afternoon touring 6 properties that are being showcased in Houston. We were asked to display my original painting titled “urbana” in one of the beautiful homes. This work is textural with a variety of playful colors. The installation looks fantastic with the backdrop of a dove gray painted wood slat walls in the home office.

We were gad to meet up with interior designer Bradford Collier who designed this home and were given a personal tour. the interiors were transitional with a nod of rustic details and brass accents that really made an eclectic impact both fresh and inspiring. We also met our friend, recognized artist Sheema Muneer who was also asked to display her works, a huge beautifully hand crafted folding screen that was meticulously executed. It was so great to be featured in this home and to work with other talented professionals here in Houston.
